  • ATTORNEY III—LEGAL RESEARCH STUDY PROJECT MANAGER

    Summary: Serve as attorney project manager responsible for coordinating the planning and implementation of a research study and final report of the various models of legal representation in child protection cases throughout Texas.

    Summary: Assist in handling original proceedings (writs of mandamus, habeas corpus, prohibition, injunction or quo warranto) as well as direct appeals. Excellent oral and written communication skills; at least three years of legal experience; familiarity with appellate procedure; and Texas license required.   • Internships
    The Supreme Court of Texas offers internships to current law school students in three sessions: fall semester, spring semester and summer. Start dates for the respective sessions typically are in early September, late January and late May. The internship length depends on the hours required by the interns' law schools and each justice's requirements, but a minimum of six consecutive weeks is recommended.
